In 2021 the tour was started and India was leading the test series by 2-1. First test match between India & England was draw in Trent Bridge, while second test was won by India in Lord's. In third test England beat India in Headingley again India won forth test match at Oval and lead the Series by 2-1 then series was halted due to COVID-19 in 2021. In previous year test series both teams were headed by different captains.
Now in 2022 at the time of resumption of previous halted tour India & England both are lead by different captains. India team lead by Rohit Sharma while England team lead by Ben Stokes, both captain are new and now see who will win the 5th and last test match. If India will win the last test then will win or test match draw, India will win the whole test series by 3-1 or 2-1, while if England will win then series will be drawn or match will draw England will become looser.
The fifth and last test match was scheduled last year 2021 in Manchester, which was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now same test match rescheduled in Edgebaston from 1st July-2022.
