The Final played in Melbourne on Sunday November 13, 2022. England won the toss and decided to field first and invited to Pakistan for batting.
Pakistan started batting, Pakistani opening batsman Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan tried their best to perform in the biggest match of T20 Cricket World Cup 2022. Muhammad Rizwan didn't perform very well in this big match but Babar Azam played a important inning of 32 runs in 28 balls. England bowlers did bowling very well and didn't give to much room to Pakistani batting line to play freely. Pakistan was loosing wickets on continuous basis then once again Shan Masood stick on the wicket and played a brilliant inning in the Final. He made 38 runs in 28 balls and at the tale end Pakistani all rounder Shadab Khan played a brilliant inning, he added 20 runs in just 14 balls.
Pakistan made 137 / 8 in 20 overs, which was not a good score for defend, but Pakistan have world best bowlers and best bowling side in the world of cricket.
England started batting to chase the target of 138 runs in 20 overs. England opening batsman started their innings they played in the initial stage very carefully and on the other hand Pakistani bowlers also took good start and get success by taking early wickets. Jos Buttler played good inning in the final he made 26 runs in 17 balls. England top all rounder Ben Stokes played a vital inning in this world cup final and smashed all over the wicket despite in second spell Pakistani bowlers did very good second spell and not giving the room to English batsman but all credit must go to Ben Stokes how brilliantly he played a winning inning against world class fast bowling. Ben Stoke completed his half century in the World Cup Final he made 52 runs in 49 balls and Hary Brook made very valuable 20 runs in 23 balls.
England team after to much struggle in the last session of match specially due to brilliant batting of Ben Stoke won the T20 World Cup 2022. England won T20 World Cup second time and became the only team in the world who won final of all cricket formats. England chased their targed 135/5 in 19 overs. Man of the match of course only and one Ben Stoke.
